Cashmere - a natural fiber extracted from the undercoat of wild mountain goats which lives in the high pastures of the Himalayas. Himalayan cashmere differs superfine crimp of fiber and excellent ability to retain heat. Manufacturers of Cashmere Goats fluff don't shorn wool and to comb by hand once a year to get no more than 300 grams of fluff per one goat. High quality cashmere is rare and expensive. At the same time the quality of down is strongly dependent on the environment of the animal habitat, time and accuracy of the collection of fluff.
